The Challenges Kids Face

Children and Families of Migrant/Refugee Backgrounds arrive in Australia and confront many different challenges. Learning a new language, adjusting to a new culture, hardships in getting government support and also potentially having experiences of trauma, racism and financial hardship.

RMCC helps these Children and Families to thrive within our community by offering many tailored programs and support like mentorship with school work, supplying school equipment, school holiday programs, school assistance and much more.

How does The Alphabet Album Project Help?

100% OF PROCEEDS DONATED

100% of Proceeds and Music Royalties (excluding processing fees) will be donated to RMCC for 10 years from the first released online (2023-2033). This includes music sales, music streams, merch sales and specific performance and service sales

SPREADING AWARENESS

Social media, radio interviews, articles, and spread of word to talk about the challenges children from refugee backgrounds face and the great work RMCC does to support them

ACTIONS OF SUPPORT

Actively getting people to contribute to campaigns like ‘Notes Of Encouragement’ (by RMCC) and interviewing people/musicians whose families are from Refugee/Migrant backgrounds.

100% Of Proceeds donated?

100% of Gross Profits and Royalties will be donated to RMCC for the next 10 years from the release of this single which excludes processing fees from the overall amount.

So the amount being donated exclude fees from:

Stripe (Credit Card) which is a 1.75% + A$0.30 processing fee for each transaction. International payments outside of Australia is 3.5% + A$0.30
Paypal 2.60% + A$0.30 processing fees
Bandcamp which is between 15-18% processing fees
Production costs for Vinyl and any Merch (e.g. Shirts)

Every other expense will be paid for by myself (Fabian Acuna) or through Grants which include:

Recording and Mastering Engineers
Marketing and Website expenses
Recording and Audio Equipment

How can we know what is being donated?

I’ll publicly post how much we have raised every so often (I imagine I definitely would around a great number of sales/donations made I expect around a release of a single of album).

I’ll try my best to be as transperent as possible about the amount of money incoming along with any fees that I face with. If there are any suggestions on how to do this, or if you have any requests to showcase my validity, I’m more than happy to coorperate. Just message me.

Do you have a team?

It’s just me. But I do get help from other people or I employ other people’s services. I have a regular mastering engineer, pay for support to release music, recieved the help of over 60+ musicians who I am happy to call friends of mine, recieve a lot of great feedback and suggestions from friends. I also recieve help hosting this site through my mum (thanks mum).
